Here is another display fireworks catalog from my collection. Vitale Fireworks 1951. The company we now know as Pyrotecnico is also know as Vitale Fireworks. Note in the third paragraph you can shoot them yourself. I think that was common years back.

I really enjoyed reading the "Credit" section. Thanks for sharing this Dave.

The more of this history we read the more we understand some the terms used that seem out of place to us now. For example we sometimes hear an older person in the industry say something like "load the bombs in the truck". When you read this catalog from 1951 note the term "Bombshell" used in describing the product.

What an awesome glimpse back in time. Thanks for posting that!!! Since I was only two yrs old in 1951 I guess I don't feel too bad about not being able to "indulge" in their product line! Things sure have changed over the years. Also, in Canada they commonly refer to ball shells as "bombs". Heard it dozens of times in the "PYROS" TV videos.

I read it, but I didn't understand ANY of it! Now I see why the term "plus shipping and handling" was created.

Exactly....the section was a mess, LOL.
