Yea put some flash powder in them and don't use black powder use that smokeless stuff. Why do you want to use black powder?

Well chris when it comes to bp salutes compression is key you want coarse bp around 2 to 3 fa and you want to spike your shells aerial or not if its aerial you will need a finish wrap of paper any question just post it or pm

At Chris45 , the more I look over your post elsewhere on the forums I'm thinking you are not 45 years old. May not be a good idea to experiment with making firecrackers

Get a thunder mug no reason to try an make a salute get a small cannon use the black powder you'll be happy with it and it's safe. Building salutes is not regardless of the comp your using... Get a cannon spend 100 bucks you'll be satisfied
