Do you have a picture of what that Raven Bomb looks like. I find it interesting the way that fuse behaved. My memory of the few India firecrackers that made it to the United States had bad or slow fuses.

Rex at Fireart brought in some items from India in the late 90s. Cracker Bombs from Standard Fireworks were the firecrackers I remember. I shot boxes of those and although they tended to leak flash, the visco was pretty reliable. There was an Indian 1.5" cracker called Super Cat imported by a firm in the Midwest I think. They are hard to find anymore.

Pretty awesome on the string of Cracker Bombs! Those things were great to me. They didn't throw shrapnel like some other salutes do and they were dirt cheap if you got them from the right people.

I wish these bombs makers make some delay fuses for these as there is very less time to run after lighting it specially for small children.

Hi admin ..the quality is medium level because they aren't manufactured by registered factories..these are handmade by some enthusiasts or local cottage factory for cheap crackers sale during diwali .

All bow down to the new joinees known as BOTTLE BOMBS..locally hand items these are pretty loud >160 decibels.

I would like to see more pictures of the Bottle Bombs. The only firecrackers from India that I ever saw make it to United States were the green string ones and that was years ago.

The main attraction of bottle bombs are that you get a small black powder fuse separately and then you wind iy around the black mouth of the bottle bomb and then light it.

It's funny or sad depend on how you look at it, many countries that allow or at least make available very powerful fireworks don't use visco and insist on the homemade fuses that burn irratically. Mexico, South and Central America, the Philippines, and India all tend to use their own locally manufactured fuses. The fuse is the single most important safety measure in fireworks. As cheap as visco fuse is coupled with as devastating as several grams of flash powder exploding in your hand is, the choice would be undisputed.

Always remember that in india still 90% of the crackers are handmade..so there are chances of mal-functioning since we cannot rule out human factor..
But delay in fuse is not problem since it increases the chance of saftey more if you were not able to run away from it in time.
