18r or 18r2

Greetings all. Now that I have my 54 I am wanting to start to up my game even more. I have read the descriptions on both models but am still unsure on which one to get. All help is appreciated.

Get the 18r2. Even if you do t use it to its full potential now, you eventually will. If you don't get it and then later realize that you should have, you will be out more than the $50 difference. Scripting is amazing bud.

18R2.....I was on the fence too now that I have mine and have run scripted shows with it I couldn't imagine not having that option. It's pretty cool to be able to sit back, relax and enjoy the show!

Thank you for your comment. It illustrates what I have been saying. As you put it, now that you have your Type 54 you want to up your game. I have seen this play out many times, the Type 54 is a great motivator into advanced pyrotechnics.
I suggest you get the advanced remote, sure it cost a little more, but you have a Type 54, that is going to allow you to purchase advanced product, you may find the additional features useful if not immediately perhaps next year as you continue to advance.

Thanks for the quick replies. I was leaning toward the 18r2, the 150 extra could be used in other areas. But also, if a year or more down the road I want to advance even more and go scripted, I would have to cash in for the other remote. R2 it is. Thanks again.

Get the R2. I am upgrading this year. I wish I had just bought it to begin with.
