advice please

im just startin out and was wondering which is better paper or plastic shells and what is the differance....thanks guys and ill def be seeking more advice down the road

Paper of plastic, depends how you like your groceries bagged. That is a very unusual first question. Plastic shells can be trouble but probably are easier to build. I was at a fireworks display using plastic shells and a piece of plastic fell out of the sky and cut a woman’s face in the audience. I am sure there are many similar stories someone may have.

i personally do not like plastic, crappy breaks and dangerous as displayfireworks1 said. paper is the way to go, the chinese have it figured out

I agree--paper is definitely the best material to use--safer, and is totally bio-degradable. Will give you a better break any day IMO. I've used both--will take paper hands down over plastic.
