The Type 60 is the one I cover in my video and DO NOT recommend trying to get it. To simplify what it is, it allows up to six 1.3 purchases per year, it only last one year, you can only purchase explosives in your own state, it is cheaper, the ATF has to visit you every year if you choose to renew it on a yearly basis. The ATF Inspectors do not really like it because it more work for them. They would rather see you once every three years. There were talking about phasing it out at one time. There are others pro's and cons' to it but that is the basics.
My first ATF license was a Type 60. The ATF called me 7 months after I receive it to go through the whole process of renewal for the next year. I immediately went for the Type 54 from that point on.. The Type 60 may be good for one time explosive user.

Is there a $1,000 fee every year to shoot 1.3 fireworks with ATF license correct? Also do I have to have a container before I purchase ATF license or can I just buy from the supplier on who I choose say like a week or 2 out before my show without having a container on my own?

Not sure where you heard the 1000$ thing.. and no for the storage container,,, you do need a contingency storage plan though and then you must purchase the product and shoot it same day.. theres a million questions with it.. highly recommend daves dvd packet.. pretty much answers them all!!! Hey.. and welcome to pyrotalk!!!

What exactly are you trying to accomplish. Get licensed, start a company your own use on who's property etc. Did you purchase my dvd package
