Open Shoot

I was just checking out some of Dave's videos from earlier in the year and caught the Kellners open shoot. I'm still kicking myself in the a$$ for missing this! Is this a once per year event or is there a fall session coming up? That looked like a blast despite the rain!! Great video Dave.

Are there any other open shoot events from 1.4 companies around the northeast? I would have driven to Kellners from VT in a heartbeat! I hope to attend their next one.

yeah come to Kneppy shoot, 10-1-16 . closer to you than Kellners (which is only 1x/year) .

vegassalute - there is a "kwik-fill" motel/truck-stop kinda deal right adjacent to Kneppy's shop ... right off I-80 ... very convenient and reasonably priced... there is a small locally-owned grocery store and a bit of a diner type restaurant that's attached to the truck stop ... i've stayed there, a few times and it's just fine ...
there is also a motel in Philipsburg, PA. that is near a big gas station/fast food places/grocery store/beer shop/liquor store and etc ... but that motel is a bit more expensive ... just check ahead to make sure there is no Penn State football game as those people tend to take up all the motel rooms AND the Philipsburg motel jacks the room rate up, a bunch for those game days ...(dont think the Kwik-Fil motel does, though.)

Announcement coming soon for the Fire Art open shoot. Date has been set, 10-15-2016. Just trying to lock down all the activities. So far shooting from 6pm-10pm, Liquid fuel Mine seminar, and cake raffles.

We may have to scale back to 8" shell limit, I know its a bummer but the Crown Pyro 8s were smoking all of the 10s last year anyway.

Yes we will have 1.4 wholesale by the case or by the piece, as well as Articles Pyrotechnic, and 1.3 for the individuals with licenses.

if i can make it up i was wondering if anybody has 2 inch racks that i could use for the open shoot? i would love to get the 2 inch canisters shells again if not i might buy 3 individual mortar tubes from fireart and make my self a 3 shot 2 inch rack. i only ask since ireart is the onl one with those and i only go one or 2 times max a year.

I will work on getting some 2" racks there. Think Dave was kind enough to bring some last time.

Looking forward to seeing you there. Definitely RSVP so we know how much food to prepare. Get there a little early, don't want to miss the fuel mine seminar and the chance to mingle before we unleash the thunder.

well as of now it looks like i cant make it up due to to not having a driver's license and no one that wants to drive 4 hrs. im sad ill miss out on all the fun, ut if my palns change and i can make it ill you u guys know
