Shooting wire

Could 22 awg solid core doorbell wire from a big box store be used for shooting wire instead of what is labeled as shooting wire. New to the hobby. Going to invest in a firing system and looking for ways to save if possible

100% agree with Dave---"use the right tool for the job". Bell wire would work, but would be a tangled mess till you got it strung out. Shooting wire isn't that expensive & is easy to see [get a bright color--NOT the black which is used for stage pyro]. The deal listed in the above video is a great price.

I used doorbell wire this year without a problem. Next year, I'll be getting some of the 'right' stuff, though.

The wire from blastertool is nice, i got one spool with free shipping and liked the wire so much i went ahead and ordered another 5 spools lol ofcourse i had to pay for shipping on that order but its nice wire so it was worth it. Strips easily with a thumbnail which is a huge plus and nice and shiny core so its good copper.
