Interesting email I received. I referred him to a professional company.

Hello Dave
A question I'm certain you hear regularly:
How does someone get started in this field?
I've just started watching your videos which led me to other videos of firework displays and through them I have developed somewhat of a fascination for them. As the subject reads " from terrified to fascinated" I am an Army vet who has avoided fireworks like a politician would avoid a polygraph. For obvious reasons of course. I find myself now not only being able to handle the sudden explosions and flashes to really being interested in learning how to design and execute a display.
Are there any hints or tips you can give me to start? I am a NJ resident for the time being. I have come to understand that in NJ , NOTHING IS LEGAL. I am planning on moving to either PA or FL which I assume will change my ability to follow through on my pyrotechnic path.
Thanks for your time
