Mortar Tubes & Racks

Hello. This will be my 1st summer using mortar racks and was wondering. Do my HDPE tubes need to be attached (glued/screwed) to the base of the racks? I have 5/10 shot racks where the tubes (with plugs) can be taken out.

The plug of the tube should be screwed to the tube. The mortar tube does not need to be attached to the mortar rack
