I really like these posts you do Dave. All this info is at your fingertips. Over a million minutes in 30 days?!?!?! Do you have a YouTube play button yet?

Ha ha ha. Smart ass. It's one hundred thousand subs or a million?

I never heard of it until you mentioned it. LOL
I am sure if I started blowing things up and some other things I could get more subs, I am not trying to head in that direction.

Wow I'm surprised. As huge as you are on you tube I'm very surprised. Well you tube send channel owners a stupid cheap plastic play button. I think there is 3. The normal red one a silver and platinum. I think 1 5 and 10 million subs. Ha I haven't heard of anyone not worry too much about that stuff, as a matter of fact.... you don't do all that stuff... giveaways, asking people to like and subscribe. Good job getting to where you are at without begging.

Speaking of analytics. This video from 2010 has consistently been my highest viewed video. Every month over and over to date. The thing that gets me is , I have no idea why that is. I don't want it to be this video but it is. I thought I did so many other videos that were better than this one. What could the appeal of this video be? The views are over one million. It is a mystery to me.

They reason it has so many hits is the cover pic. It's a great looking show setup with tons of cakes. People read books by the cover on YouTube and that cover pic screams fireworks. Joel Robinson said once, the best way to get hits is to make the video have an awesome cover pic. I've clicked on video of stashes because the person put a pic of tons of fireworks as the cover.... come to find out the video sucked and only consisted of water crackers and sparklers.
