Can you? Yes. Would I? Absolutely not. The danger about shooting from over-sized tubes is that the shell will not go as high and could break very low or begin to fall to the ground and break. Extremely dangerous either way and do not recommend even trying.

Shells work on having ample compression out the tube to lift the shell to its intended height. when you use to large of tubes it doesn't get ample compression and you get low breaks, round trippers etc. its just not worth the risk when its very easy to buy the right sized tubes.

I shot some 1" out of DR11 and they seriously break way too low. I dont recommend it for any purpose.. very unsafe

Do NOT shoot anything out of a tube that is not the proper diameter for the shell. Potential for some serious problems--and possible injuries--if you do. Safety first, fun second...or there might not be a "next time".

best to shoot from the tubes that comes with the kit/shells.

there are laws of physics at work that ensure the shell goes up to the altitude it's designed to ... use the proper I.D. tubes.
