'' ATF LICENSE IN THE MAIL JUNE 10 Th 2016 ''

I mailed my ATF application packet out Friday May 20th, little less then a week later May 25th my agent called me to set

up and appointment i got the interview date for Tuesday May 31th 2016 and exactly 10 days later June 10th 2016 i

received my Type 54 license in the mail. It was already approved by June 7th 2016 and it expires July 1st 2019.

Anyways friends fellow Pyro's and Hobbyists i just wanted to share this and encourage others to get there license

if that's what you desire. Its not impossible as some make it seem, with a little dedication preparation and the proper

motives i feel any responsible fireworks user/enthusiasts should and very likely will become a candidate to receive there Type 54 license.

'' Take the PGI course help out on a shoot or a few shows join a club perhaps, it looks better if you know a few things and are

competent safe and a responsible person. There not gonna hand this to someone who can't be trusted who seems suspect. Just

act normal attentive and coherent on your interview and don't try to BS, just be straight forward. ( ALSO BUY DAVE'S ATF 54 DVD PACKAGE )

My critics said you just can't get an ATF license in New York State. Then they said it could not be done in New York City. I got feedback from a enthusiast that lives in an apartment in New York City that received his ATF license. Now we hear from yet another enthusiast from New York state that received his ATF license. There are multiple enthusiast that are ATF licensed on this forum from the state of New York. Congradulations to all of you. Thank you all for letting us know you received your license. And a special thanks to all the 1.3 fireworks distributors that are helping us make this happen.

Last count in 2012 there were 62 ATF 1.3 fireworks license holder. Thanks for adding to that number

Is there anyone out there from Florida who has his/her 54? Preferably from around the I-4 corridor?

My buddy and I are looking into getting our 54. I ordered Dave's kit, and I'm still trying to find time to go through the videos. We are joining FPAG (Florida Pyrotechnic Arts Guild) this Saturday, and hope to be able to work with some pyro's who already have their 54.

Right now our concerns are finding a suitable shoot site, getting the local fire chief to sign off on a permit, and finding a local supplier to agree to be the auxiliary storage site. If we can't resolve those three issues, there's really no point in pursuing the 54.

If there are any Florida 54 holders out there who can help us crack the code on any of those issues, I'd be interested in hearing from you.
