Firing System?

Just wondering what is a good inexpensive alternative to the COBRA. I plan on getting the cobra but I won't have it by the 4th and I was hoping to fire my show with a firing system.. Any help is appreciated.

that's all anyone really needs for a small show, anyway ... cobra is better for mid to bigger shows, in my perspective . i have used Cobra and it's slick and fun but, it's over-kill, sometimes .

I've been looking at the p1200 system for a while. From what I'm reading it seems to be pretty easy to expand. Seems as this will be my next system.

The p1200 system is great for a first system. I just did a shoot for a wedding and used the p1200 with 9 mods. The control desk worked awesome. I had 4 mods 200yds away on the back side of the dike of a pond and it didn't miss a beat
