Here is the system I use. This is for HORSE factory only and for DOT marked labels only. Check our Type 4.

Horse Factory Thunder Bomb labels. A rough sequence of issue. Does not include the rare variety with 50 mg powder disclaimer printed on the label.

1. Black (mostly) or blue (rarely) labels w/small dark blue caution box (First imports from early 1970's)

2. Black labels w/large white caution (upper) and blue DOT (lower) inside single box. Yellow address box. Mid-1970's.

3. Black labels w/large yellow caution box. DOT outside. late 1970's

4. Black labels w/large white caution box. DOT in white separate box. 1980-82.

5. Red labels w/large yellow Caution. Late 1980's

6. Blue labels w/large yellow caution box. DOT inside or outside box. Guangdong or Kwangtung. 1979-93. Earlier DOT inside show lit crackers.

7. Blue labels w/huge white caution box. DOT outside. 1990
