Hello! My name is Evan Hood. I live in Youngstown, OH. I have quite the back story when it comes to fireworks. When I was around 6-8 years old, my dad brought home this huge fireworks assortment from Phantom Fireworks except he got it for free because he is a plumber and he done a plumbing job for someone who had to do with Phantom Fireworks. After that, every year we would go to BJ Alan and get cases of Phantom Fireworks for the 4th of July. In the beginning he would just light them off. Then once I started getting a little bit older and he started letting me light them off. Every year now I get fireworks for the 4th of July, and I have to thank my dad for that. I get my fireworks from WF Boom and American Fireworks, but I could go to BJ Alan or Kellner's and I might starting next year. But that's my fireworks back story. And hello all my fellow pyros!

Welcome to the forums. Perfect opportunity to come to our Kneppys Fireworks demo this weekend - Youngstown is no that far off - only 2.5 hr drive. Several folks from the Cleveland and Youngstown areas are coming as well.

Welcome to the Forum Evan. And ditto on what Joyce said--The demo & open shoot at Kneppy's Fireworks is always a great time. If you do make it, say "hello". I will be running the sound for the demo Saturday and will be there for the open shoot on Friday..
