Florida Fireworks Banned

In many counties across Florida the use of firewrks has been banned due to the lack of rain.:mad: The drought index is currently at 600 in my county and needs to drop to 450 for the ban to be lifted, so we are all praying for rain.

FF, don't feel like you are in that boat all by yourself. Here on the coast of MS, most of the counties are under burn bans and so far 2 of the coast counties have included fireworks prohibitions. Here in my county, (Harrison) they have restricted the use of fireworks to the beach from 5 pm Friday July 1 thru midnight July 4. Really hoping for a lot of rain in the next few days and the forecast looks promising.

Make sure that you obey the ban, the last thing that is needed is yet another reason to rally against fireworks if you burn down half a county. Baby Jesus loves fireworks so pray for rain.

Thats an awesome point, don't push it. It will rain again and you will have to shoot them off at a later date.

Looks like a huge system coming through covering a bunch of states.... hope it reaches you guys down there..... My fear is rain that weekend..lol
