Pyro Poke

Here is my first homemade Pyro Poke.

The one above is 3/16 of an inch.

I still have to finish 1/4 and 1/8 to have a set of pokes.

Can i ask what this is used for?

These are used to poke holes into the side of cakes or in the lift charge of shells so that you can put and e-match in them for remote firing systems. They are made of non sparking materials such as copper or brass and then fitted with a handle to keep it comfortable on the hands while your poking your fireworks.

you can also splice black match together with them and connect finale strings to cakes for finales and whatever

Cool! Seeing the shape of that handle made me realize - I have an old Patron cork that would work perfectly as a handle. Gonna have to try it out!

The one I have use a T handle instead of a ball. Very comfortable.

Ummm, maybe someone knows something I don't, but I would think that a steel spike and aluminum body would be the last thing you'd want to use as poke. I'll stick to wood or plastic handle and brass.

Stainless steel dose not spark I use it in my ballmill
