Hey all, what's the minimum and maximum voltage to trigger a eMatch? I'm sure it varies by match/brand....but there has to be some middle ground. Thanks all!

Voltage isnt as much of an issue as amperage. You should look at the website of whatever manufacturer made the ematch as it can vary but usually very close to each other.
These are not exact but seem to be the standard:
Maximum No-Fire: 250-300mA
Recommended Minimum Fire: 750mA
Recommended Nominal Fire: 1A-1.25A

Chris--1.2 volts will pop an ematch and so will 48 volts. Like Playingwithfire85 said the issue is the current. Call me & we can discuss what you need to know for the project you are working on.

Thanks for the comments on this voltage e-match issue. It is something I always wanted to make a video about. I also wanted to experiment with static electricity and electric match. I am just not experienced in this area. If someone has some experiments or research in this , it would be great to post it here on the forums.

When I finally get a batch of Imatch that work I can do some tests. I do have a decent adjustable DC power supply for adjusting voltage and amperage.
