Can I connect a normal Electric Match (Not Talon) to a normal visco fuse using tape?

I have seen people insert a piece of QM over the visco fuse and then insert the ematch into the other end of the QM and tape. Seemed to work fairly well.
I have never seen or heard of anyone connecting ematch right to the visco though.

Use a Lolly poke and direct match cakes in the first mortar and match the lift for shells, comets and mines.
