Young adult from Maine killed from mortar

I read this article a few days ago, about this guy age 22 from Maine that was drinking with his family and friends. So he got drunk and the stupid kid decided it was going to be funny if he lits a mortar off the top of his head. His friends tried to stop him, but I guess they didn't do enough because the end result was he died instantly. Now today I read his parents are considering suing the firework manufacturer for his stupidity.

Unreal he gets drunk and stupid but fireworks are to blame. Someone needs a reality check here.

Yea I read that too, his mother said they need stricter laws and shouldn't give just anybody access to them. The issue here is 100% lack of common sense no law could have prevented it.
