The Nit de Foc is a one of the biggest parties in Palma. Celebrated on the eve of Sant Joan fiesta, it includes street parties, bonfires, fireworks, pop concerts, devils & demons and the infamous 'correfoc' - the fire run, where the 'devils' run through the streets with firecrackers and fireworks - not for the faint hearted! The main action is in the Parc de Mar by the cathedral. Bring your dancing shoes and be ready to party! From around 10.00pm

Correfoc (literally in English "fire-runs")
In the correfoc, a group of individuals will dress as devils and light fireworks. While dancing to the drums of a traditional gralla, they will set off their fireworks among crowds of spectators.

That's not the Nit del Foc we are seeing in this video.

Every night, a firework display is set up at the river (no water over it for now) and shoot at 0:00.

The most important one is the one between 18th March and 19th March. This one is call "La nit del foc" and that's featured on the video posted at the opener.


Hope it is more clear now.

Thank you for clarifying some of details on these events. I appreciate the posting of information from my friends from around the world. I am always fascinated to see pyrotechnics enjoyed in ways we never see in United States.
