seen this a little while ago....
If you think about it... even cardboard mortar tubes are designed to handle more then amount of shells that come with it.
I have used single cardboard mortar tubes until I couldnt get a shell down in it anymore. Not canister shells though. Just the festival ones.
Im sure you could use these composite cakes for reload. Would I try it? Of course. Why? Because pyros try new things.
I have already used cardboard cakes for reloads as well.... no issues.
This one IS with cans...

What size of holes are they? What would fit in there?
If you stop the video at 2.18 and see his fingers , looks like about 5-3/4", 1/4" wall, I would guess 1" hole . The bottom interests me also, that glue looks hard as glass. I can see getting creative with this.

I've coated some cardboard mortar tubes and made several 6 shot racks that have been quite handy the last couple of years. I see no reason you could not refuse/reload this at all. It is a bit pricey, must have bought it at that hooded guys store.

Just a heads up, DO NOT let those composite cakes get wet. They will essentially melt.

Nice little tip there. Thanks. Would not have known that.
