I really like 0:50. Great timing on the salutes. Were they separate inserts? They almost looked like part of the stars themselves. Oh, and just curious, what kind of weight can you lift with a 1lb rocket? What size headings do these have?

I've been trying to guess what is the difference (other than driver/stick vs. lift charge/mortar) between rockets and shells. It seems I've seen more variety of effects in individual rockets than shells, so I'm guessing there's a weight lifting advantage for rockets that would require larger diameter shells and thus significantly more lift charge, but shells are still more prevalent because rockets are more labor intensive?

I know some people are just into rockets. That's their thing. There is definitely a different feeling watching a mortar go off and watching a rocket lift off. But I'm pretty sure they can get any shell up in the air if they want. Take a look at some of the whistle comps this site has and look at max and average thrust power. The tests were done with a 5/8" rocket. I always forget what the pound equivalent is. Anyway here it is
