If anyone lives anywhere around these areas (including Philly and NJ)... I suggest you get it if your working pro shows.

I took the exam last year. And yes it was $25.
I have my Maryland shooters cert too.

It cost $50 for the first time and then $25 every year to renew it. It's a one time test. 25 questions that anyone who reads Delaware firework laws and can pass.

@algrant1, What Version of NFPA book are they using?

I do not remember the version. I believe it was an older version. I contacted the Fire Marshals office. They told me what the test is based on...parts of the DE code and NFPA. The test I took this past July had 50 questions. It was very easy. Done in 20 min with only one wrong. The MD was a lot more difficult. 75 questions and took me an hour to finish.
