My Fireworks Rant from YouTube.
As the years go by, I receive less resistance from pyro groups and select individuals when I discuss or promote the ATF display fireworks license to average fireworks enthusiast. The doom and gloom predicted four years ago has not occurred. Hopefully as 2015 arrives these pyro groups and the Pyrotechnic Guild International will embrace some of this new way to learn about fireworks with video and other expedited ways to obtain licensure and knowledge. The days of learning pyrotechnics by working one to three displays for 5 years and hope you work with a good crew chief who teaches you something along the way may not be the best way. Advanced fireworks enthusiast can start from day one on a professional fireworks crew and have a vast amount of pyrotechnic knowledge from watching videos. Then when the on the job training starts they will be better prepared for it. Or they can take all of this knowledge and use it for their own personal enjoyment. Having your own ATF license instead of just being an "Employee Possessor" on someone else's has many benefits.

If you need my help getting through the procedure to obtain the Type 54 user of display fireworks consider my ATF/DVD package. Make it a goal for yourself in 2015.
