comps containing FeTi

I'm making some blesser blond streamer, and I was going to pump them, but pyroguide says this:

Bleser Blond Streamer #1 - cut, spherical
Potassium nitrate 45
Sulfur 6
Charcoal (pine or hardwood) 29
Ferrotitanium (100 mesh) 15
SGRS 5
Add 25% alcohol / 75% water This is Chrysanthemum 6 with additional FeTi. Don´t mill or pump any comp containing FeTi! Screen it together or screen in FeTi after milling the C6 ingredients.


now i know that pyroguide is not the most reliable source, but i wanted to check why it is that it says it's not safe to pump. does anyone have any information on this?

Don't pump any comp. that contains FeTi It will eat the pump up. Ether cut or roll
them.

Yes it will scratch your pump big time. Blond streamer comp is very nice by the way.

wow, nice shell! yeah ive seen the comp on yt before, figured it was about time i tried it. Is Ti the same way, or is it okay to pump?

Ti is not a bad as FeTi. I don't pump very many stars. I build round shell so I roll most all my stars.
I do pump my trunk stars.
