I ran across this Power Point presentation on the internet. I converted it into a video form. It looks like it is from Dave Stoddard 2006 PGI convention. In the first slide he gives permission to anyone that wants to reproduce/distribute it. It is interesting reading for those new into fireworks manufacturing. Each slide will play for several seconds but you may need to stop it as needed to fully read.

A ATF Type 54 license may cover you on the transportation part of this presentation. You do not need a license to manufacture fireworks for your own use, the problems come from transporting them off of your property, storing them overnight and of course selling them.
