We will be having a winter raffle this year, with a drawing occurring shortly after Christmas… depending on the number of tickets waiting to be sold.

The cost per ticket will be $20.00, which will enter you into a drawing with 10 great prizes. We will only be selling 225 tickets total, and have about 100 left.

Here is the list of prizes, and the order in which they will be awarded:

Payments should be made using the friends and family option. Please avoid using words like "raffle", so that there isn't any issue with paypal. You will receive a confirmation email confirming your purchase, and it will include your drawing number(s).Digital tickets/numbers will be sent in leu of an official ticket.

This will be a public raffle, so individuals names will be documented online in a permanent record. No other information will be shared. Here is an example drawing using the current list of ticket holders. As you can see, the results are numbered 1st thru 10th… and that will indicate which prize goes to which individual. No hard feelings Killer… looks like you would have done alright.

What can you tells us about your pyro-club in Utah? I can bet you will be at the PGI convention this year in Wyoming.

As far as the club, it was started about 3 years ago by a group of class c enthusiasts. They didn't do much other than buy wholesale and work on their 4th shows. At some point though, the guys from the Utah Pyrotechnic Association started hanging out with SLAP, and basically combined at some point. UPA is/was all builders... with a great manufacturing site with just about anything you could imagine. Most of it belonged to 2 time pgi grandmaster Tom "Doc" Miller, but he has since sold everything and gotten out of the hobby.

So, it makes for a nice diverse group. Many still focus entirely on scripting consumer backyard shows, while others build elaborate girandolas. At the end of the day though, they all get along and support each other anyway they can.

Most of the info regarding events can be found online, and I'm sure you'd be more than welcome to come out and visit sometime. :)

I believe there are about a dozen of us going to Gillette.
