WOW!!! Imagine a 3" or 4" salute. That's very unfortunate, I feel bad for this poor guy.

Ok everyone flash powder is considered a high explosive by the ATF. You should not mess with it unless you are licensed, and then with caution !As for the staff at fireworks stores, If your on this site or any other pyro site you probably know more about fireworks than they do. Be Carefull.
Type 20 and type 54 licensed.

By the way you can legally put more boom in the air than on the ground. According to the Dept of Homeland security, if its not a legal firecracker, either 1.4 or 1.3 for use on the ground its a bomb. And do not get caught with it. You will regret the day you heard of fireworks.

I cant stand the fact that some A-Hole working a stand would alter a 1.75 salute and give it to a consumer!! WTF!! I would like to stick that thing up his ass! This poor Guy lost his hand because someone that knew better led him out to the wolves!

They should print this picture on every bag of oxidizer sold or the box with aerial salutes.. Thinking about making flash/or altering an aerial firework?, recall this picture. It saddens me when things like this happen. It creates yet another dark day in the pyro world that is otherwise filled with joy for most of us, because of fireworks.

I am not sure why the picture disappeared. I now have the picture back it was originally on this thread. Go back to the start of this thread to see it. It is also in the Kentucky section of the pyrotalk post picture area. Now excuse me while I vomit.
