I decided to make this video unlisted and post it on the forums for viewing. In this video, you will get a chance to see the setup for the “Bad Fireworks Finale” video I have posted. During setup, I was initially praising Flower King for all the connections on the finale fuse, however at the same time I was picking up poor workmanship and quality. This is the first time I saw black electrical tape on display shell fuse. In retrospect, my guess is during an inspection in manufacturing someone recognized a problem and tried to salvage the fuse by taping the connections.
My complaint with a distributor selling this is you need to tell the person buying it there may be problems. They also need to sell it cheaper or not at all. In the past, I had distributors give me product free that had problems but was not dangerous. You do not sell junk or dangerous stuff at full price.
I tried to contact the AFSL for an opinion on if their new 1.3 standards would prevent the fuse incident we experience on this finale. They never returned my call. I will include a link to the AFSL 1.3 standards. On this finale, I never thought to look if the Flower King box carried the AFSL sticker. If the new 1.3 AFSL standard will not cover quality to some degree, they should add it in. With a rise in privately held ATF licensed individual they need to set up a method where an end user can file a complaint or report an issue with 1.3 product. The end user can then reference the numbers on the sticker and carton in the complaint.

Bad Fireworks Finale video
This is the finale video, I have to apologize for my language because it distracts from the performance of the product. At the time, it was very frustrating

I've seen this a vid a few times and for a finale you def got skunked on that end. We used the same chains ( 2.5 - 3 ) with the connectors for some Bay shows and they worked pretty good. Easy setup but only a few loose shells not going up which isnt uncommon anyways on a finale

like i said in your first post about this issue is i had the same 3 inch flowerking finale chains of 10 on the 4th of July show i did in pitman NJ, it went out a total of 2 time on each section. we had the finale broke up in 2 sections, basically in half so if something went wrong every thing wont go off.ill post my video of them and the time to ship to to see it. ill put the times a few seconds before the time it goes out and you'll see the guy dive in. the first time it went out it relight itself. the very last part of the finale was on a spreate fuse that was the last fuse of the show to be lit and we had all the crown brocades and salutes on that fuse we had a jumper to go to that fuse that went to a flowerking chain to some reg. quick match but once again went out. anyway to sum things ups all 3 of us crew members including me where very pissed off cuse it took all 3 of use 2 and a half hours to tie the damn chains together. i will post the time in a new theard to this one below.

Hand firing is much easier when you have the racks cubed IMO..... you might want to consider wearing gloves as protection as well....I dont get it when I see crew with short sleeves and no gloves on....
