I'd like to build a small magazine on my property.

Storage of Low Explosives table shows under 1000 pounds, 75 feet from inhabited building, public railroad & highway.

I feel silly asking this, but does ATF consider my garage an inhabited building?
What about my neighbors garage?

thanks everyone

I would also consider how much traffic the closest road gets per day.
Here is the book link if you need it

If the garage is attached to your house it is an inhabited building. You can't use the garage as a magazine. There are also specific construction and locking requirements for a building that is used as a Type IV magazine.

One of the ATF inspectors told me a story of a guy that build a small outhouse type building and placed a dynamite magazine in that. It met the requirements.
