Consumer Firing Systems + SLA battery

WEll, I tried out the option of adding a external SLA battery. Used a 12V 8AH one. Tell ya what. The consumer igniters Falcon and Talon II went off as quick as the ematch did when testing.

So, If ya have the option of using a external battery instead of the AA batteries do so. IT makes a world of difference

I use 12volt rechargeable RC batteries from remote control race cars. I use 3 of them together and have enough kick for a 100 cue show. 15 minutes to recharge each battery and your good to go.
