I have advertisers that ship fireworks to Texas, get together with other people in your area and place an order. It is easy. You have to purchase by the case and spend more than a few hundred dollar. I am looking at a catalog now from one of my advertisers. Here is an example.
I have been looking for this cake and seem to have a hard time finding it. "Parrots Prattle 16 shot" Brothers Pyrotechnics 4/1 $75.00. That is $18.75 each. Of course you have to add shipping so pick one of my people that is the least distance from you. To get good prices at any fireworks distributor you need to get the budget up and purchase by the case. To walk into a fireworks store and purchase A la carte one item at time is going to be costly.
Here is one of my old videos that is currently unlisted, I took it down because it angered so many people from a rival website. For some reason they do not want you to know all of this. The video is from 2010. You can do this same thing if you have the money. More than one of my advertisers ship fireworks, its the new way to do things.

I can buy Wholesale from Jakes Fireworks and also Hales Fireworks, I mainly buy wholesale for myself but I am willing to help other pyros out in Texas & Oklahoma. I am currently involved with trying to bring in are first container (if all goes well) of 1.4g product this year. We are going to target the serious hobbyist with around 10 items, 500 gram cakes , 3 inch finale racks & 60 gram artillery. We currently bring in 5-10 containers of 1.3g a year.

Take a look at our website www.wfboom.com (http://www.wfboom.com) we ship to Texas all the time. I did see Dave's comment about getting some guys together. We do group buys all the time. I would be happy to help you put together an order. There is still time to take advantage of our first early bird discount. You can save up to 40% off on qualifying orders. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
I always buy full cases. I used to spend about $1,500 a year when I first started. That has ballooned into $5,000 - $6,000 a year.......don't know if that is good or bad. By the way Ray, I really want to make an order with you guys again on the 40% discount but I'm afraid the shipping is going to kill me.

I understand your concerns regarding freight. Based on that size of an order the discount you will receive on the product will more than compensate you for any freight cost. Place an order and let us get you a freight quote. We have begun using a few new carriers and have been getting some really good rates.
