In the third video--the Street Mascleta I see a lot of the salutes falling to the ground have color "preburners". Is this common on the Mascleta salutes? In the big caged Mascleta's we see videos of from Fallas there is so much ground smoke once it starts going off you really can't tell. Just wondering. Awesome videos. Thank you for posting them!!!

yeah its ´normal´ for them to fall on the ground first, in belgium you can buy them like this aswell.
theirs also versions that will explode instantly so mid air.

and theirs the masceleta´s people place on the floor usually.

Not all bangers have these preburners, you will see it more at street mascletas, here another mascleta for you guys.

Those rockets are nice, I would like to see something like that in a reloadable 1.75 artillery shell here in United States. I keep waiting for someone selling 1.3 fireworks here in United States to import some 1.75 1.3 canister shells that have similar effects to this rocket.
I do not understand it sometimes, in the Netherlands you are allowed this big rocket but reloadable 1.75 shells are forbidden.

The rockets or not from Holland Dave, they are Belgium;)
In Belgium a total amount of 15 gram flash is allowed in rockets but is has to be devided in 2 grams fillings, so 7 bangers containing each 2 grams.

About the preburners in the mascletades, on the big townhall square it is most of the time not visible but a lot off companies use some kind of preburner.
It is actually not always a preburner that u see but a small gerb/lace/star connected to the hanging quickmatch strings.

She is Rita Barberá Nolla, the mayor of Valencia.

I love in the 3rd video down from the top on he 1st page, The mascleta drops a whole bunch of colored stars/sparks onto the street every couple of seconds towards then end more. Very cool effect!
