I couldnt make Kellners demo, so for those you who were there... what were the product highlights? I'm specifically interested in the 2.5" to 5" shells. How were the cakes, the TK's, or whatever you'd like to share your opinion on?

Saw some of the TK'S at the open shoot wasnt that impressed. However the 1.75" salutes are really inexpensive and pack a punch.

i will tell you what is on my show list - 4inch Cylinder Shell Assortments - 4 inch Dahlia Shells - 3 inch Magnum TI Salutes - 3 inch Titanium salute finale string (10 Shot) - 100 shot of BOSS Assortment of some kind wired together - 32 Shot Cake 2inch Arials Style C. - 25 shot cake titanium cannonade (65MM) - 25 Shot Aerial (75MM) D style - 96shot "i.v.w." Aerial 25MM -- 50 shot 2inch Fast Finale (50mm) - 64 Shot Aerial (20mm) Style B.... that is what i liked but everyone is different. I really liked the 4inch shells vs the 3 inch, all the other shells bigger than the 3 were really good but 4inch shells are good enough for me to start with. What art the TK's? Im just thankful that kellners is close and i can use them for storage also. I did shoot video that night and can try to put some up. I really have to tell you that being there vs the video, there is a big difference.

As far as the salutes go they were all good except the 5" magnum ti salutes. The 3" salutes had a louder brake then the 5" ones. The 5" salutes are made in Mexico and it seems like all of the Mexican shells lack the hard brake that grabs your attention. The nicest shells in my opinion were; B317, B318, B322, B413, B424, B426, B505, B512, B606, B608, B611, B614, B615, B618, B808, B811, B122. There were definitely shells there that I would not waste my money on but the ones I have listed are quite good. As for the "TK's" Thunder Kings they are Thunder Princes all the way, when they handed my case to me I thought they made a mistake. The 1.3g cakes that I liked were; BC17, BC19, BC21, BC30, BC34, BC35, BC40 kicked !!S, BC43, BC45, BC51. Bob was a good host and I had great time. We blew the sky apart on Thursday night and we not asked to hold back on anything. I almost got my fill of salutes for the first time in a long time. Nice! We'll talk 1.4g from Kellners on another thread. Later
My guess is the 3" were the LBS salutes. If you would have heard a 5" LBS you wouldn't be saying the 3 was louder than the 5. He doesn't stock any new LBS shells now so he might have old stock on the 3's, but is out of the 5's.

It didn't matter if it was the 3", 4" or even the 2.5" they were all better than the 5". His supply of 5" salutes is from Adan out of mexico, they are really nice people but apparantly don't know how to make flash.

Here's my input on the 1.3 demo: I agree with J's12talk that the 3" Ti Salute had the best "thump". The BOSS P18 slow fanned Ti Salutes was nice, as was the P15 & P17. BC17 Cannonade was the show stopper in my book. Loved it! BC19 next. BC30,BC34,BC35 was short but spectacular! BC40, BC41,BC43. Shells B206A, B317B320Kamuro,B413,B416Kamuros,B502,B512Gamboge's ,B808Kamuro. The 3 10" & 1 12" were all very nice symmetrical breaks but without the "hard break thump" you would expect for a large shell. My humble opinion.
Also want to express sincere thanks to Bob Kellner & Staff for a great weekend & the AWESOME spread at the afterglow at King's on Sat night. Great food & camaraderie!
