Notice the plain brown cake on the lower right side at the 00:20 sec mark--looks like it has 40 3" & 2 1/2" tubes & 2 quick match fuses...that is a brute!!! No way it is a class C cake.

Usually they smuggled from Thailand. Those 3 inch shell cake ( 15 shots ) cost around USD200. Maximum diameter we able to get are 5'inch. Mostly in a cake form, thin cardboard. Those shells made purposely to explode in lower height than commercial made to make them looks bigger and louder.

Great information. Thanks for joining pyrotalk forums. I welcome fireworks enthusiast from all over the world. This is what I told someone making a salute shell once. You do not want them to go too high because they sound louder the lower they are.

That's a crazy big cake, we need those in consumer here. As for the salutes going off low to make them louder, I got a cake for you if I ever meet up with you... Some of the shots go off about 1 foot above the cake... They are very loud.
