Malta International Fireworks Festival

The Malta International Fireworks Festival is an annual event organised by the Ministry for Tourism and the Malta Tourism Authority. www.maltafireworksfestival.com

The Grand Harbour provides the perfect setting for this spectacular event, which takes place at the end of April. The festival includes fireworks displays designed by foreign pyrotechnic companies as well as some of the best local fireworks factories.

Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the spectacle free of charge. The best locations for viewing the Grand Finale displays on the 30th are Ta' Liesse / Barriera Wharf, Valletta.

The festival also serves to commemorate Malta's accession into the European Union that took place on 1st May 2004.

For all those who are planning to come over to Malta to watch the show just let me know i will prepare special vip seating for them
during the show and also i will create a small excretion The Qrendi lourdes fireworks factory from my side is free
you will only pay for the transport if we are going to be a group because i need to hire a Mini BUS there is already one person who contacted me that he is coming over one person i can handle but more we need a bigger car ok i can assure you that you will enjoy it

Competition: i think steyfire should have won the international competition but it is hard to judge on the films.

Thanks for posting these awesome videos Laquil and giving us a front row seat at the events in Malta. I would have a very difficult time if I had to be a judge for the competitions there. Every video had something different and beautiful in it. Such talent, craftsmanship, and passion for the art of fireworking! I say everyone is a winner!

Yes fireworks competition is during the whole year especially when it comes there are two factory's in the same village

we compete with each other, who makes the best fireworks a colored one and mechanism

To win it, for us it will be an great honor amongst those who are professionals it's very hard but always there will be a winner
