Mepa has approved the rebuilding of three rooms at a fireworks factory in Gharb where four men died in an explosion in November 2012.
The application to rebuild was filed in March by Andrew Gatt, the nephew of the owner George Gatt who died in the explosion.
Mepa approved the reconstruction of the mixing room, workshop and kitchen together with the replacement of a concrete passageway that was damaged in the explosion.
