I should go to Spain to watch fireworks I like the way they do it. Mostly salutes with a little color occasionally. This video is from Elche Spain.

No, it is not worse than VietNam--they were trying to kill us there with punji sticks, crossbows, AK-47's, Soviet SAM missiles, and booby traps made mostly from our own unexploded ordinance & we were dropping napalm & 2000lb blockbusters on them..I would rather a pyro show any day after that!!! The ground might shake & your chest compress, but it is a good feeling knowing you get to go home alive & in one piece afterwards. Just saying--as a Vet. No disrespect meant.

Joe, he meant no disrespect I am sure, it is a reference term now. Although it is a reality that some veterans from all USA wars suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and can not tolerate fireworks. We respect all veterans and we love you Joe.

No disrespect meant.
Here in my country when a show "bang hard", we says "it's worth than Beyrouth, Bagdad....and also Vietnam or Verdun (14-18)". It is not disrespect, it's an "expression" in French
I don't need respect lessons, thank you
