Torpedoes - Realgar??

Hi all, anyone have any insight for making throw down torpedoes like they made in the old days? I am interested in any safety information and formulae that any experienced members can contribute. Thanks!

A 50/50 mix of potasium chlorate and antimony trisulfide chinese needle works great. Use 3/4 inch paper cup sets add 1 part 1/8 inch gravel to 2 parts torpedo mix. just be careful as torpedo mix is very friction sensitive. John Donner has a great book called Impact firecrackers. Make sure they are legal in your country before you try making them.
