Anyone here know of any good places in Michigan (preferably Metro Detroit area) that sells wholesale fireworks? I'm trying to get a hold of a lot of the canister-type mortar shells. The retails stores are a complete rip off. And if anyone knows of any good online wholesalers without crazy minimums or crazy trucking fees please share!

I've been hearing good things about wfboom but it's almost a 4 hour drive from where I am and they also don't seem to have much of a selection with regards to the canister type of shells I'm looking for.

They have Electric Rain shells, which are always compared to Excals if thats what your looking for. ER's are the only thing I buy.

The Electric Rain shells are good for sure but they're only packed 4/2/6 and their price for the case isn't really competitive. I've seen Excal's packed at 6/24 for $175 and the ER's are $120 for only 48 shells in a case. Although they do have good discount pricing this time of the year after the 4th so we'll see. I wish they had an estimate on the site as to the freight carrier charges since i'd have to have my order shipped to me.

You have Ace Pyro in MI. I know they sell wholesale 1.3g and 1.4g fireworks. They are not a sponsor here, but they are a great company to deal with.

Are these two shots sent from 1.5" or 2" single shots? Frankly speaking with no offending, the effects are quite common and weak. You got to try a better one. Actually fo 1.5" single shot, the effect can be very impressive and even shock. really beautiful....trust me.

These are 1.75" canister shells and actually shot from a 1.91" gun. They are the biggest on the U.S. 1.4G market. They will most likely have no more then 60Grams of composition.

These are only weak if you are trying to compare them to the 1.3G market.

Of course they are also common... they are made for the average consumer by the bulk. 1.4G = Consumer
1.3G = Professional


Hope that clears up some of the differences of our countries.

Its usual for any 1.3G 1.5" shot to be better then a 1.5" consumer shot. The difference is in the composition.

Consumer can only have so much composition. Professional will have more, which gives better effects.

1.5" 1.3G tubes are usually only on cakes, or can be special effects shots like comets and mines and whatnot for stage effects.

A good small single shot in the 1.4G market you should look into is the Aquarian Single shot. http://www.wfboom.com carries them.
