Road Flares For Lighting fireworks

So heres a good question for all of you i like using road flares to light my fireworks with but i can only find 1's that last 15 min so i was wondering where can i get flares at that last longer than 15 min and we've already checked with ohio state highway patrol shocking they don't sell so where can i buy some at ??

Well, I have used them, but usually just have a few on hand that last 15 minutes. Really never bothered. As of late though I went with used a mapp gas torch. Burns hotter than propane and gives you a bit more reach to the fuse.

I use the trigger butane lighters from Lowes. They last forever!

Mapp gas torch for me! Works great.

If you still want to use road flares - check with your local Vol Fire dept. They get for themselves (30 min) - so maybe see if they can get a case for you.
Kellners has 30 min - but they are now bringing in Chinese made - not anywhere as good as USA made -

I use a plumbers torch.......But since I bought Daves Firing system I have shot my last 4 showes with it. its actualy fun and you could enjoy the show more.

Which consumer igniter's are you using or do you have your 54 so you can get the e-match

I use the igniters phatom sells they work just fine. the trick is to hold the button down on the remote for 3 seconds per hit .....knock on wood have not missed a shot yet! Its a great system I encourage you to consider it if you dont own one.

I own a few systems, Yeah ya definitely have to hold button down for a few seconds with most consumer igniters. I find it less as much when ya have a system with More voltage and amp's

I Prefer to use a blow torch will not smell as bad as road flares also does not drop flaming pieces all over. If you want road flares try one the the pyro supply websites.
