Hello all! I just wanted to say a quick hello and wanted to introduce myself. I just came across this website a couple weeks ago. I have been a fan of fireworks since I was a kid in Chicago.
I applied for my 54 two weeks ago Monday and just had my interview with the ATF agent this afternoon. Wow only 2 weeks and a couple days. She said, I should receive my permit in 2 weeks or so. I still can't believe it! She was very pleasant and offered me great advice and contact information for agencies in Illinois that I will be wanting to contact in the future for state and local compliance.
