Just returned from Malta, i had a amazing week thanks to Laquil how drove me around the isle and showed me the beautifull Lourdes fireworks factory!
My footage will be in online between 1 to 2 weeks.

Italian company Lieto Fireworks won the Malta International Fireworks Festival. Thousands of people turned out at the Valletta Grand Harbour to watch the grand finale of the festival. The festival was organised by the Ministry for Tourism and MTA.

Minister for Tourism Karmenu Vella together with MTA CEO Josef Formosa Gauci presented the winners with special trophies. Lieto Fireworks from Italy claimed the top prize followed by Mount Carmel Fireworks Factory from Malta and Focs d’ Artifici Europla from Spain in third. Mount Carmel Fireworks Factory of Zurrieq won the best Fireworks display via sms voting from the public.

Despite the Zurrieq Mount Carmel Fireworks Factory claiming the second spot and the sms voting, several Maltese enthusiasts were disappointed when it was announced that a foreign manufacturer had won the festival.

Cheryl Balzan and Gianluca Bezzina, Malta’s representative for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest entertained the crowds with their performance at Barriera Wharf.

This year’s Malta International Fireworks festival started with a traditional Maltese Fireworks display that lit the Grand Harbour and concluded with a Pyromusical display by PyroEmotions Fireworks from Italy.
