Has anyone seen or purchased the new M-25 cake from Tannerite? I heard the new M-25’s also come with a fuse in addition to an electric match. Here is a picture of an M-25 in case you never saw one.

Do they sell direct only, or does a wholesaler/retailer sell them? On the label it's listed as 1.4g so that's most likely not an e-match correct? I would think you would have a transportation issue if its an e-match.

Never mind just saw the not for retail stand sales on the label.

I got a couple cases of the M-25's a few weeks ago but they are the orange wrapper--not silver like in your picture--and NO FUSE on them--just the ematch. I really don't know if they are "old stock" or new. Also got a couple cases of the 16 shot crackle cake--nice cake!304 I would recommend them.

Dave--I don't know why those two pics loaded the way they did--I used the "insert image" icon in the advanced mode. Any suggestions what I did wrong? Thanks.

I have not seen the newer ones yet. I have a question about the fuse. Is the fuse located near the electric match entrance or located on the other side of the cake similar to a chain type fuse? Is the fuse Visco and green in color?
For my friends outside of United States, this type of fireworks product was created for professional use however; it is classified as a 1.4 item for storage and transportation. Please note that it says it is not for sale to consumer retail stands. The term “Professional” has broad meaning and depending on who is selling the item it may or may not require special fireworks licensure.

As you can see the new ones have both the visco and electronic firing.

Hey Guys. Heres Dave's video he demonstrates the A.P.'s (articles of pyrotechnics)

The M-25 is like a 25 shot TK, without the red or green tails.

In my opinion - yes they are.
Dave - didn't you do some type of comparison on your vids a couple years ago?

it's pretty darned close to my ears. the color of the break is a peculiar silvery color , little different than a TK/etc , also . I notice these little variations .

These cakes are the same as thunder kings in my opinion. They are a good option because you can store these without restrictions. I heard the new ones may a fuse and an electric match. They are going to be more expensive than a 1.3 thunder king because of the associated cost of getting these certified and limited availability.

Depending on who you deal with. Myself and about 4 other vendors this past year at PGI sold these by the pc.
Remember - you will NOT find this on a retail store shelf. YOU must verify to the seller that you have a efire system as these come with ematch - not visco fuse.

Actually, the ones I have have both ematch and visco.

True - the ones i have also have both, but they originally came out with only ematch. I have ordered but not yet received for 2014, so not sure how they will come.
I have some of the other tannerite cakes in stock - but they only have the ematch (no visco).

The "older" orange label series only had the ematch. The new product is in a silver wrapper & has both the ematch & a visco fuse. The bottom line, however, is that it is up to the discretion of the seller if they will sell to you or not: The product is intended "for professional use only" and, as with all "AP"--Articles Pyrotechnics- is intended for use in a "specific way". Now, that being said & considering the mind set of most of my fellow Pyro's out there------LOL!!!

Yea, I have been slacking. Perhaps I will order your DVD today, so it will be here when I get back in town. Must make sure this is my last year without at least having the option to buy 1.3 products. So yes Dave, you are right!
