Is anyone familiar with shooting 1.4 fireworks in or around the city of Brookfield Connecticut? I have been requested to seek out information about 1.4 in this town. It appears as if 1.4 is legal to shoot with local permits.

What does NLPC stand for? As far as I can see a local permit is required and that is it.

Northern Lights Pyrotechnic Club.
Coachtimmyj is the current president of this fine club. There are also many members on here (including myself).
Also NLPC is the sponsoring club of the semi annual event called MAFF.
I think they invented this club in absence of the defunct CPA - Connecticut Pyrotechnics Assoc.
I believe there is no distinction between 1.3 and 1.4 in CT as far as permits, you need a certificate of competency to pull the permit. You need to have the product Hazmat'd/legally transported to the shoot site.
