found a picture off of Big fireworks Facebook and there are pics of pro shells and exacalibers in the same room awaiting packaging... are they the same shell just wrapped differently? or are they a different shell just made by the same company?

No I do not believe excals and pro shells are the same recipe, this years excals broke harder and almost more symetrical than the pro shells. However pro shell and exterminators ARE the same shells just rewraped, the kits had identical effects and when shot side by side (I did many in my labor day show) they are imposible to tell apart. HD shells are the same as X shells and I belive all of the above mentioned come from the same supplier.

These are really cool pictures. I shot the Exterminators and Pro Shells, to me the Exterminator shells seem different. From one year to the next who knows. We should not assume because these canister shells are all in the same room it means they are all made the same. Apparently they are made by the same company.
I really like all of the canister shells, I have been analyzing some of them, on the top plug I noticed they trapped some clay between two cardboard disks. This must do something to make it break hard. Now that all these great 1.75 consumer canisters are on the market I am reluctant to buy 1.75 ball shells.

dave you must shoot exclaibers and do a video on them before the 2012 batch is gone!

Exterminators and pro shells - yes made in same factory. The effects are somewhat diff though - you will find 12 of the 24 effects the same - the other different.
To be honest - there are other rewraps of same shells made in same factory out there as well. One of which is the Extreme shell by Windmill. Packed 4/24 just like pros and exterminators with heavy duty fiberglass tubes.

As you may know, World Class Fireworks is one of my advertisers. I am currently working on something for them as we speak. Look for it in the near future.
I will work with any fireworks company that wants to promote fireworks or fireworks related equipment. All they need to do is become part of the website.

Thanks for your expertise on the difference between the canister shells. I was suspecting the companies that have these things made would want at least some variations in their specific brands.
