Are there any of these type of salute displays in the States? Kinda sad to think that I probably wont be out of the country any time soon to witness such a show.

I actually saw this display live in Italy. The entire display was really good. Too bad they fired two duds (at 02:44 and 02:50), such a shame of all that work constructing these cilinders. They also fired a tremendous sequence of "scala a otto", but that's not even in this video.

And then...their finale (starting at 05:45). That was pure madness and LOUD! What a fantastic build-up to apogee! The guy with the camera was next to me. Although we were at a distance of at least 300metres, you could feel the big salutes. Near the end it was almost getting scary. When it had ended, everyone was jumping and cheering.
