Our rocket man continues to push the limits of all he can squeeze into the head of a fireworks rocket. I will eventually post more fireworks rocket video but thought this one should be separate since it was so special. This video is currently unlisted on my youtube channel.

Love it! When I was into model rocketry, I experimented with a few cluster configurations. I've seen some 2-stage fireworks rockets, but this is the first time I've seen a cluster rocket.

I had the pleasure to talk with the Grand Master rocket builder again this year at Kellners & listen to him & another "rocket master" talk shop & discuss details on the inner workings of some of these rockets! That in itself was worth the trip to Kellners! I was in awe when that one went up. 698 grams is 1.36 lbs---imagine the thrust it took to put that rocket up there. The spirals weren't perfectly symmetrical like his other "smaller" ones--but like it was said--these were experimental shots to see what worked & what had to be "tweaked" .The video unfortunately doesn't allow you to gain a perspective of the height--it was way up there when it broke & the bottom shot was awesome.
As it was stated this was an experimental model as were all the rockets he shot at Kellners--he said he was perfecting "new things" for the show he will be putting on at PGI 2013 here in PA. I'm looking forward to that one!!!!!

Such an amazing person. Glad to call him a close friend. Helped him set up last year. Wished I made it down this year.
Hope he has some to test next weekend.

Amazing rockets must use a very good time fuse cutter...perfect symmetry is not posible in such a design as the timing is sequential therefore one can not acheive a 'perfect' as the salute inserts are moving outwards as the are going off in sequence...just amazing!!! they were perfect!!!
